Brain & Courtlin Announce Their October Listener Lunch Spot

Who's ready for October?!

After a wonderful month of Listener Lunch at Jimmy Z's in Downtown Cedar Rapids, next week we will be launching a new month of lunches at a restaurant that neither of us has visited before. We will be classing things up at The Class Act Restaurant at the Hotel at Kirkwood!

The Class Act, located at 7725 Kirkwood Blvd SW in Cedar Rapids, is a restaurant that is great for fancy and casual occasions. Their website reads:

"We specialize in fresh, seasonal ingredients, sourced locally and from all over the country. The Class Act is also the only restaurant in the Cedar Rapids area that raises and serves its own beef, a process made possible through a partnership between Kirkwood’s Culinary Arts and Beef Science programs."

They are open daily for breakfast lunch and dinner, and on weekends they also offer brunch. We will be visiting for lunch on Tuesdays in the month of October, and the menu looks delicious! Options include a burger, grilled cheese, a Cuban sandwich, salads, a breaded pork tenderloin, chicken parmesan, and more. You can view the full menu HERE.
