One of country music's hottest stars is returning to Iowa this summer. Blake Shelton is heading to the 2021 Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. It will mark Blake Shelton's first headline appearance at the fair, and his first show on the main stage in more than a decade.

Blake Shelton opened for Tracy Lawrence at the 2008 Iowa State Fair, but he'll be the main attraction for a concert Friday, August 13 at 8 p.m. on the grandstand stage. The show, which was announced this morning, will feature newcomer Matt Stell as the opening act. Tickets for the show go on sale this Friday, January 8 at 10 a.m. HERE or at 800-514-3849. Tickets will range in cost from $45 to $90. *Please note: Gwen Stefani isn't scheduled to perform with Blake in Des Moines.

The Blake Shelton/Matt Stell show is the first new concert announced for the 2021 fair lineup, which already includes a number of shows that were postponed from 2020. It will also be the first concert of the 2021 fair.
