*Furry Friday is sponsored by Theisen's Home Farm Auto.

We are SO happy that 'Furry Friday' is finally back! This week is the second week we've been able to welcome an adoptable dog back into the KHAK studio for our weekly segment, and this Friday's pup was a big bundle of joy!

We would like to introduce you to Beto, a 2-year-old Labrador Retriever/Black Mouth Cur mix:

Beto was welcomed into Last Hope Animal Rescue in Cedar Rapids at the same time as some other dogs, so they were all given the names of presidential candidates. Amanda told us that sometimes they have to get creative with their naming process, because they have to name a LOT of dogs.

Beto needs a home with no cats, small dogs, or really young kids. He's a big guy with a lot of energy! The description on Last Hope's website reads:

"Beto is around 2 years old, he has wonderful young dog energy and is seeking a forever home that wants an active and medium-high energy dog companion. Beto will love a home that is active and takes him out for adventures and walks. Included in Beto's adoption fee is a free obedience course at Cedar Run Pet Boarding & Daycare, we think he will be a champ in picking up lots of new commands here and this will make for a great bonding experience with his new owner."

If you're interested in adopting Beto, you can get more information and fill out an adoption application through Last Hope HERE. We can't wait to see him go to his 'furever' home!
