If you're a big fan of the show 'Friends,' this show is right up your alley!

The Paramount Theatre in downtown Cedar Rapids is gearing up to host a unique performance that's centered on one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time. FRIENDS! The Musical Parody will take over the theater on Wednesday, October 6th at 7 p.m.

Now, if you're hoping for another 'Friends' reunion like the one that debuted on HBO Max at the end of May, you're out of luck. This show is a "comedic musical that lovingly pokes fun at TV’s 'Friends,'" and no, it doesn't feature any original cast members. It still sounds pretty awesome, though! The Paramount's website reads:

"FRIENDS! The Musical Parody recreates our favorite moments from all 10 years of Friends through an uncensored, fast-paced musical filled romp."

The live show is recommended for ages 13 and up, so you probably want to leave the little ones at home. Here's a trailer that was posted to YouTube back in 2017:

As you can see from the trailer, all of the iconic moments are covered during the musical, including the turkey head, "Smelly Cat," Joey and Ross' couch nap, and Monica's big "SEVEN" moment.

Tickets for FRIENDS! The Musical Parody go on sale this morning (Friday, July 23rd) at 10 a.m. They range from $29 to $170. You can get yours HERE.

The Paramount Theatre also announced their 2021-2022 Broadway at the Paramount schedule earlier this week, including the musical 'Cats' and the legendary Blue Man Group. You can read more about that HERE.
