A Cedar Rapids Teacher is Our New ‘Teacher of the Week’ Winner

It's Friday, which means we're very excited to honor another amazing educator here in Eastern Iowa!

This week's winner of our KHAK 'Teacher of the Week' award is Bree Reinert, a 5th-grade teacher at Hoover Elementary School in Cedar Rapids.

Bree was nominated by Megan D'Hooge and she wrote:

"Bree is a wonderful fifth-grade science teacher who not only impacts her students in the classroom, but volunteers her time to an after school program. After school, Bree works with fourth and fifth-grade girls, teaching them their potential and empowering them. She’s pretty amazing!"

For being such an excellent teacher, Bree will be receiving gift cards to Wild Hogs Saloon & Eatery in Walford and Half Price Books in Cedar Rapids.
