A Cedar Rapids Seafood Restaurant is Moving to Marion
Uptown Marion will soon be home to a popular seafood restaurant! Crab Attack Seafood Kitchen & Bar is moving!
Crab Attack Seafood Kitchen & Bar first opened at their current location back in April of 2020. They took over the space that was once home to Daisy's Garage at 1117 1st Avenue SE. Like Daisy's Garage, Crab Attack has decided to move to a new location, this time over in Marion. The new address is 796 11th Street, which is the former home of Bistro 3 Nineteen.
Crab Attack first announced that they would be relocating on Halloween, but at the time, they hadn't revealed where the new location would be. That announcement came on Thursday, November 9th. The post reads:
"Exciting news! Our restaurant is gearing up for a GRAND REOPENING at our new location. We will feature an expanded menu with the same great taste you've come to love... and a full bar."
We don't know exactly when the grand reopening for Crab Attack will happen yet, but the restaurant promises to update us when the time comes! You can follow the official Facebook page HERE.
Speaking of openings, the folks behind Crab Attack have been promoting a partnership with a brand new restaurant in Iowa City! It's called Turkey Leg Pit and it's over at 1610 Sycamore Street.
Turkey Leg Pit offers a variety of meals featuring giant turkey legs. You can get a plain one, one stuffed with mac & cheese, one with stuffing and gravy, and more! There are also a bunch of different sides to choose from, like mashed potatoes, baked beans, potato salad, cornbread, and sweet potatoes.
In addition to the giant turkey legs, Turkey Leg Pit also offers seafood boils, courtesy of the folks at Crab Attack. Options include crab, lobster, shrimp, crawfish, sausage, corn, and more. You can check out the full menu below:
Turkey Leg Pit is currently open for curbside and carry-out orders. Their hours are not yet listed online, but you can get the latest updates on Facebook HERE and place your order by calling 319-333-1379.
