One of my favorite Cedar Rapids restaurants is offering a unique option for folks who enjoy brunch!

Earlier this summer, I spotted a Facebook post from Daisy's Garage, a popular locally-owned restaurant that's located at 5240 Edgewood Road NE. They announced that their Saturday and Sunday breakfast hours have changed (they're now 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.), but it was the next part of the post that really piqued my interest. Daisy's is offering a Brunch Charcuterie Board!

If you've never heard of a charcuterie board before, the site Webstaurant Store describes it as, "an assortment of meats, cheeses, artisan breads, olives, fruit, and nuts, all artfully arranged on a serving board." They're very trendy right now! As you can see from the photo above, the board from Daisy's is definitely artfully arranged, but instead of fancy meats and cheeses, it includes brunch foods, like sausage McGriddles, pumpkin and banana bread, homemade donut holes, bacon, waffles, bagels with cream cheese, and assorted fruits with dipping sauces!

If you're interested in giving the Brunch Charcuterie Board a try, Daisy's Facebook post says it's available for on Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. They cost $65 and MUST be ordered and paid for at least one day in advance. You can place your order by calling the restaurant at 319-654-5806 or sending them a message on Facebook.

If you're more into traditional charcuterie boards, you may want to check out The Hangry Lady at NewBo City Market. She offers all sorts of delicious and adorable charcuterie boards for all occasions. Her Facebook page is filled with photos! I've included a few below, but you can follow her on Facebook HERE.
