98.1 KHAK First Responder Friday Salutes Dan Baker

Each Friday morning at 6:30 a.m., 98.1 KHAK's Brain & Courtlin pay tribute to an eastern Iowa First Responder. The weekly honoree receives a $25 gift card to Wild Hogs Saloon and Eatery in Walford.

Today, we honor Dan Baker, who was nominated by Amy. Here's what her entry says:

"Dan Baker has been with Mechanicsville Fire & Ambulance for 13 years, and 3 years ago, he became an EMT! He is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. He is dedicated to everything and everyone. He is hard working, smart, so funny and just a great guy to know and be around. I got to experience his first responder abilities first-hand, and I am so thankful he was the one to be there! Kudos to Dan Baker on the person and friend he is! Love ya buddy!"
