2024 Easter Egg Hunts for Kids and Adults in Eastern Iowa [LIST]
Egg hunt season is coming up quick! Here are the Eastern Iowa Easter egg hunts that are open to the public (list will be updated when more information is available!):
(It's also worth nothing that many churches in the area are offering egg hunts for their parishioners)
City of Davenport Community Egg Hunt
- Vander Veer Botanical Park, Davenport
- Saturday, March 9th
- 11 a.m - ages 3 and under
- 11:10 a.m. - ages 4 to 7 and 8 to 10
- "Hop on over to the grassy area located behind Gabe’s All-Inclusive Play Village to collect as many eggs as possible and receive prizes. Remember to bring your own basket or bag to collect the eggs."
Children's Easter Egg Hunt
- Wild Hogs Saloon & Eatery, Walford
- Thursday, March 21st at 7 p.m.
- "This is always a huge event!!! Come early for kids eat free with each regular priced adult meal (sandwich and side or dinner menu item). Also fun treats for everyone...and a visit from the Easter Bunny!!!"
Bunny Bash
- Bloomsbury Farm, Atkins
- March 23rd, 24th, 29th, 30th, & 31st from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- "The farm will be springin' with our attractions, our famous Bloomsbury Bunny will be hoppin' around for photos with all, our food stands & gift shop will be open, & so much more!"
- "Would you like to hunt for Easter eggs? Consider the egg hunt add on! The Easter egg hunt will be going on all day that we are open - each egg hunt ticket is useful for one time into the Easter egg hunt area."

12th Annual Nature Egg Hunt
- Saturday, March 23rd from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Wickiup Hill Learning Center, Toddville
- "Get ready for our annual outdoor egg hunt adventure! Challenge your youngsters to find 10 different colored eggs and turn them in for prizes. Be ready to look high and low for eggs hidden in the tallgrass prairie, playscape, woodland and along the savanna hiking trail. You can start this easygoing egg hunt as soon as you arrive."

- Attendees are asked to bring a bag/bucket to collect eggs
- The Easter Bunny will be available for photos
- Event is free to attend
WLGC Easter Egg Hunt

- 10 a.m. - ages 1 to 5
- 10:30 a.m. - ages 6 to 12
- Also featuring a bounce house, face painting, crafts, and photos with the Easter Bunny
2024 Community Easter Egg Hunt
- Central DeWitt Community MS/HS Outdoor Sports Complex
- Saturday, March 23rd at 1 p.m.
- The hunt will be separated into age divisions: 1 & 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, and 7 through 9
- Pictures with the Easter Bunny start at 12:30 p.m.
- "Candy, snacks and drinks will be included in the hunt. Each age group also will have a 'Golden Ticket' hidden in their hunt area, which can be redeemed for a larger prize at the event’s conclusion."
Muscatine Parks & Recreation Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg-Stravaganza
- Ushers Ferry Historic Village, Cedar Rapids

- Saturday, March 23rd at from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
- "The 4000+ Easter Egg Hunt will start at 10:30am by age groups and an allergy-free hunt will be available too."
- Also featuring the Easter Bunny, baby chicks, a fire truck, an obstacle course, and more
Easter Egg Extravaganza

- All paid participants will each receive a gift bag once they turn in their eggs
- In between the egg hunts enjoy giant jump pad, teeter totters, sling shots, 18 hole mini-golf, giant jenga, giant tic tac toe, corn hole, spider web, and more!

Robins Easter Egg Hunt
- East Knoll Park, Robins
- Saturday, March 30th at 9:30 a.m.
- Ages 0 to 10 - special Easter egg hunting area for ages 0 to 3
- Limit of 10 eggs per child
- Robins Firetruck will arrive with the Easter Bunny
CANA Easter Egg Hunt
- Cleveland Park, Cedar Rapids
- Saturday, March 30th at 10 a.m.
- Ages 0 through 5th grade
- This hunt is open to the public - you do not have to be a member of the Central Church of Christ or a neighbor inside CANA limits to attend
- "In lieu of a mad dash for eggs, egg hunters will be tasked with finding eggs numbered 1 through 12. The eggs will be turned in for prizes once they have all 12 eggs."
Hiawatha Easter Egg Hunt
- Guthridge Park, Hiawatha
- Saturday, March 30th at 9 a.m.
- "Search for candy and toy-filled eggs in the grass at Guthridge Park. The Hiawatha Easter Bunny will be on site for pictures too!"

Community Easter Egg Hunt
