One of the biggest celebrities to come out of Iowa isn't Ashton Kutcher nor is it Johnny Carson; it's the Iowa Department of Transportation. I've just moved to Iowa and honestly one of my favorite things about this state is Iowa DOT.

And do you pronounce it Iowa Dot or Iowa D-O-T? Where I'm from we do the former and it's thrown me off a bit.

One of the best-kept secrets about the Hawkeye State is that its Department of Transportation is the most superior one in the country. No, it's not because Iowa has the best roads, but because of its road signs.

These signs and their hilarious messages have been going viral on social media.
