Personally, I love when artists take chances. Trying a new sound. Releasing a song to radio that you never thought an artist would. Sometimes these risks pay off. Sometimes they don't. But I still respect the artist every time. The Zac Brown Band were the musical guests on Saturday Night Live this weekend. They played their current single on country radio 'Homegrown'. But then for their second number, they brought out former Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell and debuted a song called 'Heavy is the Head'. I'm guessing the tune will be featured on the new ZBB album due out in April. Rest assured you'll never hear this on country radio, but that said, I love it! I know country traditionalists will think it's garbage. But kudos to the Zac Brown Band for having the guts to do something different!
