Tall buildings have always fascinated me.  I have a fear of great heights, so it's not that I'm interested in an elevator ride up.  It's the ability to construct them that just amazes me.  Somehow, they just keep building them taller.

In the distance in the photo above is the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The building is currently the world's tallest man-made structure at 2,722 feet.  Despite the riches of some in this part of the world, the building directly behind the camel is the way most people there live.  Sad, if not disturbing, isn't it?  The picture below is a more close-up look at the building.

Something much bigger is on its way.  The Kingdom Tower, which will be nearly two-thirds of a mile high?!  Here's all the details.  Now, who will top this?  You know someone will.
