Today is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr Day. For many, it's just a day off work while for others it's a normal day. It should be neither. It's important that we honor this incredible man, who made such a difference.

Above is a photo from Dr. Martin Luther, King Junior's March on Washington on August 28, 1963... the same day he would give the unforgettable "I Have a Dream" speech (video below).

I visited the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, where Dr. King was killed by an assassin's bullet, on my first trip to Memphis, Tennessee several years ago. The Civil Rights Museum is next door. It's an incredible place that filled me with sadness.

Dr. King was killed 15 months before I was born. I so wish he'd have been able to continue his work... he still had so much to do.
