In June, Wisconsin men's head basketball coach Bo Ryan announced that the upcoming 2015 season would be his last. Now, he's not so sure. Speaking at a golf tournament yesterday Ryan stated that he hadn't filed any paperwork yet and Wisconsin athletic director Barry Alvarez has said that Ryan was free to change his mind. So has he? Ryan went on to say the he might stay on at Wisconsin another 4 or 5 years. So why make the June announcement?

Ryan said it was about recruiting. He knew that he wasn't going to be able to promise incoming recruits that he'd be there all 4 years anymore. Ryan went on to say that he wouldn't be the first person to think about retiring and then change his mind. The Badgers have won 4 regular season Big Ten titles, 3 Big Ten Tournament titles and have gone to back to back Final Fours under Ryan. It's easy to see why that would be hard to walk away from.
