It's the day before the big game and the eyes of Iowa are upon Cedar Rapids Favorite Son Kurt Warner.

With the Pro Football Hall of Fame announcements scheduled for Saturday, Kurt Warner is once again a finalist, and hoping the third time is the charm.

Let that sink in for a minute. Kurt Warner is up for the Hall of Fame nomination for a third time, in spite of the fact he is the only player to win two league MVP's and not be elected to the Hall of Fame.

Here's something else to chew on: Warner is also the only quarterback to start three Super Bowls to not gain induction.

Kurt Warner won the Super Bowl in 2000 while with the St. Louis Rams when they defeated the Tennessee Titans. The guy deserves to be inducted in the Hall Of Fame in Canton, Ohio. Let's hope he gets the good news this Saturday.
