Which Fast Food Restaurant Makes the Best Fries?

A writer for the website Thrillist ranked the fries from different fast food restaurants from best to worst, and the top four are all represented here in Eastern Iowa!

French fries are EASILY one of my top five favorite foods. Thin cut, steak, curly, crinkle, beer-battered, waffle, covered in cheese; I love all forms and I don't discriminate (except against sweet potato fries... no thanks). As far as local restaurants go, I'm a big fan of the fries at White Star, the loaded cheese fries from Rock Bar give me life, and I LOVE the Buffalo fries from Daisy's Garage. Sometimes, though, I just don't have time to stop for a meal at one of these restaurants, and I need a quick fry fix from the drive-thru.

A writer for the website Thrillist decided to rank the fries from various fast food places from best to worst, and I can't say I really disagree with him. There are a few places I think should've gotten a higher ranking (mainly Culver's), but the top 5 are on-point. Before we get into the list, I want to clarify that he judged them based on the fries alone, not including any toppings. Here are the top four:
