Every day on my way out of work I pass a playground full of kids, and every day I can't help but feel a little jealous. Remember when your biggest worries were who you were going to play with at recess and what Santa was going to bring you for Christmas? Those were the days!

We did a little childhood reminiscing this morning, and it all started with an article about toys. The National Toy Hall of Fame has announced their three inductees for 2018: Uno, pinball, and the Magic 8-Ball. The three popular toys were selected out of 12 finalists that also included Tickle Me Elmo, American Girl Dolls, and Chutes & Ladders.

I had a ton of toys when I was a kid, but there are only a few that still stand out to me now that I'm an adult. I absolutely loved my Easy Bake Oven, my Barbies (and all 12,000 accessories), and my Pokemon Cards and action figures. Heck, there are still some days where I wish I had an Easy Bake Oven! It's just so much less messy that actual baking.
