January 2017 will be remembered for its lack of snowfall here in Cedar Rapids. We never had that one storm that dumped enough snow to fire up the snow blower. We did have that storm that dumped freezing rain causing closures a few weeks back.

So what are the forecasters calling for in February? KGAN's Brandon Marshall says February is going to start off colder than what we've been experiencing lately. Still looking for some snow? Well, February is usually one of the snowiest months of the winter season. Everything appears quiet to start the week but some long range models could bring snow our way late next weekend.
