We Love the Ears and Disposition of Our Pet of the Week

Our Pet of the Week is Diesel, a 3-year old Terrier Mix. He gets along great with other animals and kids too. Don't you love the ears? We love this guy, who's packing a few extra pounds. A safety tip from the Cedar Valley Humane Society...

Even though many dogs love to go "for a ride," it can be dangerous for both you and your pet if they're not restrained properly. It's recommended that you keep your dog restrained at all times he/she is inside your vehicle. You can use a pet harness, seat belt, pet crate, or even a pet barrier that keeps your pet from jumping into the front seat and maybe into your lap. All these type of items can be bought at many popular pet supply stores.

A Cedar Valley Humane Society fundraiser is happening this Sunday at Planet X Fun Center, starting at 5 pm! You can bring the entire family for pizza, games, caricatures and face paintings. Admission is only $10 per person and half the money goes to help the animals at Cedar Valley Humane Society.
