It looks like America's favorite pastime has gone to the dogs. All across the country, baseball teams are opening their parks to pet owners, inviting them to bring their dogs to special event days called Bark in the Park.

This Sunday, June 26 the Cedar Rapids Kernels host Bark in the Park before their game at Perfect Field Park in Veterans Memorial Stadium. Humans are invited to bring their four-legged fans for an afternoon of fun and frolic!

Gates open at 1:00 p.m. The Doggie Parade is at 1:30 p.m. The game begins at 2:05 p.m.

Your puppy's admission of $8 goes to support Deafinitley Dogs, a wonderful local animal charity.

It's also "KIDS EAT FREE SUNDAY" for those under age 12, and youngsters can run the bases after the game, too.

Just look at some of the cute puppies that have attended baseball games around the country with this doggone crazy promotion that raises funds for local animal charities, and lets pet owners share the baseball experience with their furry friends.

I just wanna chase that ball so bad!

Low and outside? That umpire is crazy!

Could I be any cuter? I think not.

We're BIG Twins fans, as you can probably tell!

Who ordered the nachos?
