Uptown Friday Nights are your Weekend Kickstarter

Four Uptown Friday Nights have taken place at the McGrath Amphitheater with the Jaycees and we have many great performances to come. Last week, opening act Tripping Atlas brought the jam. I had a chance to catch up with their lead singer Chris Woodward after the show. Chris and I talked about the many years we've enjoyed live local and national acts here in Cedar Rapids. He has a long history with Inch-75 and TA is a great band. Check 'em out this summer if you get a chance. The Spazmatics then brought an 80s party to the stage making it a groovy night for all who attended.

This Friday, it's a late show which will run until 10 p.m. with the Dynamic Duo Rahlan Kay to open the night, and DJ Bryan Lee to top it off. Come join us for another great night at the Jaycees Uptown Friday Nights. We hope to see you there!
