Two Cedar Rapids Natives Racing This Afternoon At Kansas

The battle for the NASCAR Sprint Cup continues today. This weekend, NASCAR is back in the heartland as the Kansas Speedway host the Hollywood Casino 400.

Two Cedar Rapids natives will be in this afternoon's race. Landon Cassill will start 34th in his #38 Snap Fitness Ford and Joey Gase has a ride in the #32 Midwest Transplant Network Ford. Both driver's got their start here at Hawkeye Downs in the early 2000's.

Today's race is on NBC with coverage beginning at 12:30 and the race goes green just after 1.
