Trouble Waking Up? Then R.I.S.E.U.P. [LIST]
Getting up at the early hour that I do for morning radio, there are a few tricks that I do to get my morning moving faster. One, I always lay out my clothes for the next day the night before. Two, I always shower when I get up in the morning to help wake up. But if you're looking for a cute acronym to help you get going in the morning, here it is. R.I.S.E.U.P. What's it stand for? Here we go.
- "R" Refrain from hitting the snooze bar
- "I" Increase your activity in the first hour. Exercise within the first hour of being awake.
- "S" Shower
- "E" Expose yourself to sunlight
- "U" Listen to Upbeat music
- "P" Phone a friend. Talking with someone forces you to be awake and aware.
