Top 5 Things To Bring To Reggae On The River
In just a few days, we'll be jamming to the reggae rock grooves of Natty Nation at the McGrath Ampitheater. And there's a couple things you need to consider bringing to the show.
(By the way, you can't bring umbrellas or outside food or drink.)
- 1
Blankets
While there's cement benches, and bag chairs are allowed, this is the type of music that'll get you up and move along to. Chairs will just get in your way. Plus, they don't work too great on the hills. We recommend blankets.

Your Appetite
Have you seen the list of food vendors who will be joining us yet? From the American hot dogs of Big Daddys, to Italian from Zio's, to the taste of the Caribbean itself with Caribbean Kitchen. And don't forget Scratch Cupcakery for dessert. Hungry yet?

Your Dancing "Feet"
Normally we'd say dancing shoes, but reggae calls for a something a little more natural: your bare feet. Make sure you wear your shoes to the Amphitheater. But once the smooth roots rock sounds fire up, you might want to kick then off and jam along.

Your Friends
Reggae music is the music of the people. And the more people there, the more fun everyone has. And doesn't everyone like to spread good vibes to others. That's what this show will be all about. So tell your friends to clear their schedule and join you.

A "Ready To Party" You
It should have been made clear by now that everything about a reggae show is about feeling good, and having a great time. No matter what is going on in your life, put your worries aside, and just be ready to unwind, relax, and enjoy.
