Another excuse for me to eat Taco Bell? I'm in.

No surprise here, but the United States has the largest fast food industry in the world. That's why it's only right for us to celebrate this unofficial holiday: National Fast Food Day.

National Fast Food Day is celebrated every year on November 16th. I don't know how it started or where it came from, all I know is I love the occasional trip through the drive-thru. Obviously, my favorite place to grab something quick to eat is Taco Bell. Earlier this year, Business Insider ranked the best fast food chains in America based on things like  financial performance, customer satisfaction, and overall value. Here are the top 10:

  1. Chick-fil-A
  2. Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers
  3. In-N-Out Burger
  4. Firehouse Subs
  5. Jersey Mike's Subs
  6. Krispy Kreme
  7. McAlister's Deli
  8. The Habit Burger Grill
  9. Culver's
  10. Jason's Deli

As you can see, none of the heavy-hitters like Taco Bell, McDonald's, Burger King, or Wendy's made the list. Also on the list are a bunch of places we don't have here in Eastern Iowa. The highlighted three are it.

We are taking a survey right now - what is your #1 favorite local fast food place? Share it with us in the comments after you look over these yummy photos:
