Thursday Night’s Concert In Monticello Will Include This Week’s Number One Song

Only three days 'til the first big country show at this year's Great Jones County Fair and congratulations are in order for one of the artists. Tyler Farr has country music's number one song on this week's Mediabase chart with "Whiskey in My Water!"

That makes two consecutive chart-toppers for Tyler, following his first visit to number one last October.

That got me thinking about Miranda Lambert, Thursday night's headline act in Monticello. Her first number one song jerked more than a few tears from our faces on its way to number one in June of 2010...

Miranda's second trip to the top came the following May.

And just last month, she hit number one for the sixth time:

Thursday night's concert has all the makings of the perfect night. Two red-hot artists, a forecast for sunshine and highs in the mid-70's (you might even want to bring a jacket), and a special announcement before the concert even begins.
