Back to school is almost here. Time to purchase jeans, tops, shoes, and so much more. When you buy many of those items this Friday and Saturday, you'll save some money.

Friday and Saturday, August 7th and 8th mark the Sales Tax Holiday(s) in Iowa for 2015. What you still pay taxes on, and what you don't, can be very confusing. Here's the complete list. You may want to print a copy and take it with you.

Some sites recommend that you get as many as five pairs of jean for each child, along with four to five tops, hoodies, and even sweaters. And that's just the beginning, of course. Every penny you can save is important this time of year, so carve a little time out to do some shopping in the next couple days. That sales tax savings can go a long ways.
