According to KWWL, "A young boy is heartbroken days before Christmas after his prized possession was stolen from his home."

That young boy is 8-year-old Brayden Rutzeback. He lives with his family on Mount Vernon Road in Cedar Rapids. His father, Kris, went to their garage on December 8th and realized his son's dirt bike was stolen.

Kris told KWWL, "It was extremely difficult to tell him. He was very devastated, racing is everything to him. We spend lots of time, all of our time really, focused around racing, and all of our free time having fun together."

Like most of us around the holidays, money is very tight. Kris and his wife are now selling items to try and get money for a new dirt bike for their son. If you want to help, you can visit the GoFundMe page at this link.

Let's hope Brayden and his family can put this awful situation behind them and still have a great Christmas. If you have information on the bike, please call Cedar Rapids Police at 319-286-5491.
