The American Kennel Club has released its annual ranking of the most popular dog breeds in the United States. And you'll be shocked to see what breed is number one! Actually, you won't. It's been the same breed for 25 years in a row! Yes, there is no doubt we love our labrador retrievers!

The rest of the top five is fairly standard too. After labs, the rankings include German shepherds, golden retrievers, bulldogs and beagles. The AKC ranks 184 breeds overall, and you can see them HERE. Where does your dog rank? Our dog Rigby is a miniature schnauzer. His breed is ranked 16th.
