The Laughs and Beauty of Our Trip to St. Louis [GALLERY]

St. Louis is one of my favorite places to visit and after not having been there for a few years, it was great to get back. We captured some beautiful photos and a few crazy ones too.

We made the trip down to St. Louis on Saturday and attended three St. Louis Cardinals games... yeah, we're die-hards. We went two and one in those three games so that part of the trip was certainly a success. We stayed downtown and saw some of the surrounding sights, including making the very first trip up to the top of the Arch Monday morning. I definitely recommend that time. The arch cast a beautiful shadow on downtown and for a few minutes, we were the only two patrons inside the summit.

One of my best friends from college, Troy, was able to join us Monday for a trip to the Cardinals Hall of Fame and to the game that night. I hadn't seen him in nearly four years, so it was great to get together again. The three of us are now 3-0 when attending Cardinals games together.

I hope you enjoy the photos as much as Julie enjoyed taking them. She's quite the photographer and believe me, this is only a small sampling of what my lovely shutterbug took.
