Planning on going to a Cubs or Cardinals game this season? Here's what you should be chowing down on!

I'm not a big sports fan, but I am a big fan of FOOD, which is why I actually love going to sporting events. Baseball stadiums are well-known for having some of the most interesting and delicious menu items, so it can be hard to choose just one thing (unless you can somehow afford more than one thing... that stuff is expensive!).

Even though Iowa doesn't have an MLB team (go Kernels!), I know a lot of people here are willing to travel to watch their favorite teams play. Thrillist came up with a list of the BEST thing to eat at every MLB Stadium, and here are the picks for some of the nearby teams:

  • Wrigley Field (Chicago Cubs) - Hot Doug's
  • US Cellular Field (Chicago White Sox) - Elotes/Corn off-the-cob
  • Busch Stadium (St. Louis Cardinals) - St. Louis Dog from Food Network Hot Dog Bar

  • Target Field (Minnesota Twins) - Indurrito from Hot Spice

Miller Park (Milwaukee Brewers) - Bratchos on a Stick

  • Kauffman Stadium (Kansas City Royals) - Belfonte Ice Cream
  • Check out foods from all the other stadiums HERE.
