Each year, USA Today lets its readers vote on their favorite attractions from each state. A group of 'experts' pick 20 spots from each state and then the public vote determines the winners. The way I look at the question is this. If you were hosting someone who had never been to Iowa, what would you tell them they HAD to see before they left? Here is the top 10.

10. The Amana Colonies

9. Field Of Dreams Movie Site

4. National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium

3. Iowa I-80 Trucking Museum

2. Surf Ballroom

1. The Maquoketa Caves State Park

There are more caves in this state park in Maquoketa than any other park in the U.S. You can walk the 6 miles of trails and explore at your own pace. If you haven't been you should really go. Perhaps this fall when the leaves change. I can't imagine how beautiful that would be.

Is there an attraction in Iowa that got left off the list? Tell us in the comments!
