Teacher of the Week — May 27th

It's our final 'Teacher of the Week' for this school year!

This week’s winner is Collette McClellen, a teacher at Mid-Prairie High School in Wellman! She was nominated by Lindsey Palmer, and here's what she wrote:

"I would like to nominate Mrs. McClellen as the teacher of the week. Mrs. McClellen is passionate about music and she does everything she can to instill in her students the love of music. She goes beyond her regular teaching responsibilities and spends countless hours taking students to music contests and honor choirs. Every holiday season she coordinates a Madrigal dinner for three evenings in a row that the choir students perform in. She spends a lot of time practicing with the Madrigal choir, Court choir, and multiple other performers in the Madrigal. The Madrigal creates a lot of memories for us students. Mrs. McClellen is an outstanding teacher and a wonderful role model. She is very deserving to be awarded the teacher of the week and year!"
