Music On The River

Friday night is the big 4th of July McGrath Music on the River Concert featuring Jamie Lynn Spears (Britney Spears younger sister) who is launching her country music career.  She has confirmed her Mom, Dad, and daughter will be here, but what about her famous sister who is off on the holiday?

Summer is clearly concert season around town, with so many bands playing all over the place.  What we want to know is, where is your favorite place to catch a concert?  We've put a list together of some of the top spots.  So let your voice be heard!

Jamie Lynn Spears has been spending a lot of time rehearsing lately, as she readies for her big tour.  It includes a stop at the CMA Music Festival this weekend, and the Taste of Country Music Festival and Country Jam USA in the next few weeks.  Four weeks from tonight, the show comes to downtown Cedar Rapids

After an amazing "Reggae on the River" show, our McGrath Music on the River series is off to a great start, and continues June 14th with "Jammin on the River" featuring Tallgrass on the TLC Associates stage at the McGrath Amphitheater.  Get to know the band before they take stage.
