Study Says Choice Of Beer Could Reveal If Your Friend Is A Pyschopath

A new study says that people who prefer bitter tastes like dark chocolate, IPA beers, and black coffee exhibit more anti-social behavior than people who like to drink sweet stuff. The University of Innsbruck study asked 1,000 30 somethings to rate foods and drinks on a scale 1 (hated it) to 6 (loved it). Then they were given tests to evaluate their personalities.

According to the study:

bitter taste preferences are positively associated with malovent personality traits, with the most robust relation to everyday sadism and pyschopathy.

So watch that friend of yours that likes IPAs! Better yet...just bring them to the Cedar Rapids Beer Summit! We'll just call it research and leave it at that!
