Storm Timeline As Winter Storm Warning Is Now in Effect

12 fun-filled hours are ahead. The Winter Storm Warning that was issued approximately 24 hours ago has arrived! The warning is in effect thru 3 o'clock tomorrow morning, with the Cedar Rapids area expected to receive possibly as much as eight inches of the white stuff. The snow is only the beginning of a long week ahead with bitterly cold temps to follow.

I'll talk specifics with CBS 2 Chief Meteorologist Terry Swales at 3:45 and we'll also discuss just how long the extreme cold is expected to last.
