Steele Stifled On Weekend Away

This year my wife and I will have been married nine years.  This weekend she did something she has never done before - plan a weekend trip away.  I am usually the planner of trips.  I love looking up hotels and we discuss where we want to go and I make all the plans.

This weekend, she was "in charge" and did all of the planning...and it was fantastic!  We stayed at the Julian Hotel in Dubuque - a place we had never been.  Spent the day in Galena.  And we had a romantic dinner on Saturday night.  Perfect weather and perfect planning made it a great trip.  (Yes...I am hoping my wife reads this and does this again SOON!)
