What a difference a week can make in Iowa. Last week at this time, our temperatures had dropped and we were getting anywhere from 6-9" of snow here in K-Hawk Country. Fast forward a week and almost all of the snow is gone and according to CBS2 we have a chance for showers and perhaps a thunderstorm overnight tonight.

If the snow all being gone isn't enough to put a smile on your face, the Farmers Almanac states that Spring starts Monday morning at 5:29 a.m. What does the forecast look like for the first day of Spring? How bout partly sunny and a high near 60.

That's much better than 6-9" of snow anytime!
