Shooting In Cedar Rapids

According to KCRG, "Emergency crews took a man to the hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound to his leg following a shooting." The incident happened Monday night at the Aspen Inn, located at 3233 South Ridge Drive in Cedar Rapids.

Police say the shooting happened at 7:25 p.m. According to the KCRG story, the man was shot at the Aspen Inn, but police found him down the street at the Quality Inn. Crews are on the scene looking for evidence and trying to locate witnesses.
