Severe Weather Likely Across Eastern Iowa Later Today
If your sump pump is still running, you’re not alone. Much of Eastern Iowa continues to dry out from the heavy rainfall we got over the Easter weekend. Several warm, dry days have certainly helped. The National Weather Service says that the main risk of severe weather involves heavy rain, large hail, and damaging winds. However, a tornado or two certainly can’t be ruled out. The greatest risk for severe weather is along and south of Highway 20.
