Season Championships Tonight At Hawkeye Downs

The 2016 racing season comes to a close tonight at the Hawkeye Downs Speedway. Five champions will be crowned when the final checkered flag waves.

Tonight is a features-only program and the lineups are set by an invert based on total points. The invert will be determined by a dice roll by the current points leader in each division. Each feature will have extra laps.

Tonight is the annual “Lil’ Racer Car Club Trick or Treat/Autograph Night” which is also part of the program. All the race cars will line up on the front stretch and kids can “trick or treat” and get autographs.

The gates open up at 6:00 p.m. with the first race scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Adults ages 18-61 is $10, Senior Citizens $7, Students Ages 11-17 $7, & Children 10 and under FREE with a paid Adult.
