It looks like winter is about to lose its grip on the Midwest, but some people in Boston, MA are saying they want one more good snow storm. Why on Earth would they want more snow on top of their 104" so far? To break a record!

Boston needs just 1.9 inches of snow to break their snowfall record. The most snowfall since they began keeping record in 1872 was during the 1995-96 season where the Boston area received 107.6 inches.

Some residents insist they deserve bragging rights after having endured weeks of misery, otherwise all this suffering will be for naught.

More snow was expected Thursday, but the weather service was predicting accumulation of an inch or less in Boston, making it questionable that a record was within the grasp of Bostonians’ mittened hands.

Good Luck, Boston!!!
