Eight USHL teams were left standing after a 60-game regular season. Now, here we are with the Clark Cup Playoffs underway.  The Cedar Rapids RoughRiders are attempting to hoist the Clark Cup for the first time since their one-and-only championship season of 2004-05.  The best-of-5 first-round series against the Bloomington Thunder is knotted up at a game apiece heading into this weekend.

The Riders and Bloomington traded victories at The Stable in Cedar Rapids this past weekend.  Now, it becomes a best-of-3, with the next two games taking place in Bloomington this Friday and Sunday.  If necessary, Game 5 would be back at The Stable on Tuesday, April 26th.

In the other Eastern Conference match-up, the series between the Dubuque Fighting Saints and Green Bay Gamblers is all tied up at one game apiece. Could we be heading for a Cedar Rapids-Dubuque showdown for a chance to go to the Clark Cup Championship?

In the Western Conference semifinals, the Waterloo Blackhawks and Lincoln Stars are 1-1 heading into the weekend, and the Tri-City Storm enjoy a 2-0 series lead over the Sioux Falls Stampede.

This is just the first round!  You must win three tough series' to take home this beauty...
