Phase 1 of the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders 2015-16 season is over.  Mark down the regular season as a success.  The Riders won the Anderson Cup, a nearly 5-foot tall trophy awarded to the USHL regular season champion.  They last accomplished that feat during the 2010-11 season.

Now it's on to Phase 2.  The Clark Cup Playoffs get started this weekend.  The RoughRiders will be attempting to hoist the Clark Cup for the first time since their one-and-only championship season of 2004-05.  It's been over a decade... it's time to get this done.

The Riders will take on the Bloomington Thunder in the 1st round.  Games 1 & 2 will be at The Stable in Cedar Rapids this Friday (4/15) & Saturday (4/16).  In the other Eastern Conference match-up, the Dubuque Fighting Saints will take on the Green Bay Gamblers.  In the Western Conference semifinals, it will be the Waterloo Blackhawks taking on the Lincoln Stars and the Tri-City Storm vs. the Sioux Falls Stampede.

It's not going to be easy.  You must win three tough series' to take home this beauty...
