Ronda Rousey Accepts a Date to the Marine Corps Ball

One lucky Marine will have a celebrity date to the Marine Corps Ball this December! And all it took was a Facebook video.

U.S. Marine Jarrod Haschert posted a video to his Facebook with a very simple and heartfelt request for Ronda Rousey.  In the video he says, "I love everything you do, and I think you are a phenomenal person, which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball on December 11." Since posting the video on August 22nd, it has gone viral with over 4 million views, and Jarrod has made several appearances on different media outlets to talk about it.

Well... the one person he really wanted to see the video has finally seen it, and she is happy to accept the offer! Ronda originally said that she would be training for a fight in the month of December, but since that fight has been moved to November, she is now totally free! She said, "I don't know how to ... hit him up and say, 'Yeah, I want to go with you,'" she said. "...Do I have to call him or do I set up a time and place like 'Never Been Kissed,' and just show up?"

She also added that Jarrod, "has got to be a gentleman." Well, DUH. You don't mess with Ronda Rousey!
