Railroad Crossing Repair To Close Highway 13 In Linn County

The repair of a railroad crossing in Linn County will shut down a portion of Highway 13. Beginning September 19th, the roadway will be closed in both directions between Central City and Coggon. The closure will last until September 24th, weather permitting.

Drivers can take the marked detour at the intersection of Highway 13 and 151 to Highway 38, then northwest to Highway 20, then west to Highway 13. The detour will add around 25 extra miles to the normal travel distance on Highway 13.
