The qualifying races for the Daytona 500 are tonight at the Daytona International Speedway. The Cam-Am Duel 150, as they're called now, are only unique to the Daytona 500.

Only 40 cars will now qualify for all NASCAR Sprint Cup Races this season. New this year is a charter system. 36 teams are part of this charter system which means they automatically are qualified for each race. The duels tonight will feature all the cars running for their starting spot on Sunday. Only 4 open spots will be eligible for starting positions for Sunday and there are 7 teams trying to grab these 4 positions.

Cedar Rapids native Landon Cassill is behind the wheel of the #38 Florida Lottery car this season. Landon is on a team that's part of the charter system so he will be in Sunday's race. Landon will start 17th in tonight's 2nd Cam-Am Duel race.

You can watch the races tonight starting at 6pm on Fox Sports 1, FS1.
