When Iowa coach Fran McCaffery called timeout after Indiana bolted to a 9-0 lead last night at Carver-Hawkeye Arena, I contemplated going to bed early. But this young Iowa team hung in and kept it close. Then they let their senior star Peter Jok take over late.

Jok led Iowa with 35 points, 15 in overtime, as Iowa topped Indiana 96-90. Jok was especially deadly from the charity stripe going 22 of 23 for the game. Tyler Cook added 14 for Iowa and Christian Williams had a career-high 10 points as he played more minutes at the point than Jordan Bohannon.

The Hawks are now 15-13 overall and 7-8 in Big Ten play.
