Every week we feature an adoptable animal from the Cedar Valley Humane Society. Each pet has their own story, but they all have one thing in common -- they are looking for a new home. If you would like more information about one of our pets of the week, you can call the Cedar Valley Humane Society at (319) 362-6288 or visit them online at CVHumane.org.

Pele and Mele are our Pets of the Week. Pele and Mia came to the Cedar Valley Humane Society in mid-June. They are both purebred Korats and just over 11 years old. Pele is a big talker! He will meow when he wants to be pet, while you're petting him, and he'll remind you to keep petting him after you've stopped. He loves affection and will bump your hand with his head to let you know he really likes you.

Mia is a quiet girl who likes her independence and napping in a sunny windowsill. She is a super sweet girl who can be a bit shy at first when meeting new people. Once she warms up to you, she enjoys being pet and loved on.

Pele and Mia are members of the Cedar Valley Humane Society's Silver Paws Club and can be adopted for only $45 -- or $90 to adopt them together! Meet this lovely duo today and check out the video below for tips on microchipping your pets.
