Now That There Is Snow, Should You Turn On Christmas Lights?

In the past I've taken a firm position on when to turn on your Christmas lights. My belief was that they didn't need to be on until AFTER Thanksgiving.  But here we are on November 17th, and it already LOOKS like Christmas outside!  So now what?  Do you flip the switch early?

Since I don't have my lights up yet, my answer is easy:  No.  But for those of you who do have them hung with care, I'm not going to judge you this year.  Apparently winter has come early, so why not usher in the holiday's a bit sooner too.  I just feel like every year, Thanksgiving is getting closer to being completely over taken by Christmas.
